I am passionate about helping you lead a fulfilling and balanced life. I provide a safe space for you to explore your wants and needs. My goal is to empower you– with the knowledge, tools, and courage– to overcome life’s toughest challenges and disappointments, and help you understand the best path forward. I take an active role in guiding you through an exploration of your values, as well as broadening your skillset associated with mindfulness. Together, we will build upon your strengths and underlying resilience, while developing new ways to approach obstacles and clear the way for the life you want to live.
I use an integrative approach that focuses on building a strong therapeutic relationship in order to help you explore challenging and relational patterns in your life, deepen self-awareness, and take the steps toward change. I tailor therapy uniquely to each individual. I have extensive training and experience using various evidenced-based treatments—including, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I specialize in working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, low self-esteem, grief, and difficulty with emotion regulation. In my practice, I focus on working with individuals around life transitions, relationship and communication difficulties, expectation let downs, boundary setting, perfectionism, procrastination, self-compassion, and self-confidence.
I have worked professionally with adults and adolescents in agency, college counseling, and clinical settings, including providing neuropsychological evaluations and educational assessments. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Vanderbilt University, my Master’s degree in Psychology from Drexel University, and my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from The Catholic University of America.
I look forward to working with you to create the life you want!
