Getting to know the stories that play out in our lives – and how to switch them up – is one of the most important things we can do for ourselves. I am always looking for creative, interesting ways to help people discover and lean into the things that mean the most to them.
I want working with me to be engaging, creatively stimulating, and interesting for you. Difficulties and challenges are an inevitable part of life – but they shouldn’t keep us from doing the things that are most important to us.
I want us to find what brings joy and meaning to you and how to embody that in the world. We’ll talk, but we’ll also use creative techniques (even if you believe you are not “creative!”) to help you explore what may be old problems in new ways.
I help people who long to create meaning and connection in their lives, but worry they don’t know how, or would like to do it a little better.
I work with adults and emerging adults and have a special interest in working with folks undergoing all kinds of life transitions or changes. I am a kink/poly-affirming practitioner and work with clients all along the LGBTQIA2S+ spectrum.
People come to see me for anxiety, depression, trouble adjusting to new life circumstances, or simply to have a space to explore some of the big questions around meaning, spirituality, and how to have a vital, connected life.
I am currently a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland and a Provisional Registered Drama Therapist with the North American Drama Therapy Association. I hold a Masters in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Drama Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies.
