I believe my role as a therapist is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you move toward a life that feels meaningful, purposeful, and truly your own. I approach therapy with warmth, authenticity, and collaboration, creating a space where you can feel heard and understood while also being gently challenged to grow.
I draw from evidence-based approaches, particularly cognitive behavioral therapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Therapy. My work is grounded in helping you better understand your internal experiences, develop new ways of relating to thoughts and emotions, and take steps toward what matters most to you.
I have a particular interest in working with young adults and adults navigating identity development, emotion regulation challenges, and suicidal thoughts. I believe it is both a privilege and a responsibility to sit with people in their most difficult moments. I strive to create a space where even the darkest thoughts can be spoken aloud without fear or judgment, and where hope can begin to take shape-at your pace.
Therapy, to me, is both a place of safety and a place of growth. Together, we can explore patterns that may no longer serve you, experiment with new ways of being, and build a life that feels more aligned with your values. While I bring clinical training and structure, I also bring humor, humility, and a genuine respect for your expertise in your own life.
As a clinical psychology PhD student at The Catholic University of America with a background in multicultural experiences across different countries, I value the complexity of identity and the ways culture shapes our inner world. I aim to integrate this perspective into our work, honoring your unique story and helping you move toward a life that feels worth living.
